Where the hell is X-Men Origins: Wolverine In my opinion I thought it was the worst movie of 2009, the effects looked amateurish and I thought it was pretty much horrible.

The LA County Coroners office says actress Brittany Murphy died of pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication.  The coroner said that Murphy gone into cardiac arrest because of a drug intake and the December 20 death was classified as an accident.  The autopsy will be avialbe in a couple of weeks.

Brittany Murphy was 32 when she last December.  Brittany Murphy was born November 10, 1977, she starred in various films such as “Clueless” which was her big break, she starred opposite of Alicia Silverstone.  Murphy also featured in other films such as “Girl Interrupted”, “8 Mile”, and was also known as Luanna Platter on “King Of The Hill.”

Synopsis
“The Lovely Bones” centers on a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family – and her killer – from the in between (earth and heaven). She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal.

Review
This was based on the book writtern by Alice Sebold. The visuals were superb, especially in the in afterlife. Acting wasn’t as good but decent enough to do the job, I thought Stanley Tucci stood out above the rest. The movie did seem to drag on a little to long and it did get boring after awhile the first half was better than the second half; I still thought the movie was pretty decent, not the best I’ve seen this year, but I still enjoyed it. The thing I didn’t really like was the way the movie ended, it made it seem incomplete like justice wasn’t really served. Do I recommend it? Not really I say wait until its released on DVD
**1/2 out of 5 this movie is definitely a hit or miss for most. I say skip it and wait until it hits the video stores.

Eminem plan’s to be in a new movie called Shady Talez

The performer, who previously starred in 2002’s 8 Mile, will produce the project, styled as The Twilight Zonemeets Creepshow, alongside Davis, Jackson andUnderworld story creator Kevin Grevioux, who is co-writing the screenplay with Jackson.

Shady Talez as of yet has no release date, but Marvel has plans to launch a Shady Talez four-issue comic book in 2010.

Terminator Franchise Up For Auction

I read this morning that the Terminator Franchise was up for auction. There’s going to be big studios aimed to purchasing the franchise although, the franchise hasn’t been good since the Terminator 2: Judgement Day I still think this could be a great franchise for any movie studio. Terminator Salvation was mediocre at best I did enjoy some of it but not enough to want to buy the DVD.

The rights are being sold by Halcyon, the production company behind Terminator Salvation, the latest instalment in the series, which grossed $380m worldwide. The auction does not cover earlier Terminator films.

The rights will give the buyer the ability to make new Terminator films, TV programmes and other spin-offs that build on the popularity of the franchise.

If I had the money I would jump at the chance to purchase this franchise and reboot it, if given in the right hands there can be 2-3 more movies and a better show than Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles, the story is there people just gotta know how to build from it.   I would rip it out of the hands of McG and give it to a skillful film maker like Peter Jackson (Lord OF The Rings) or even Neil Blomkamp (District 9) .

At an industry summit in NYC on Oct. 21, News Corp Deputy Chairman Chase Carey revealed that online video hub Hulu will begin charging users for content as soon as 2010, according to Broadcasting and Cable. Carey told reporters that a subscription system is likely, although some content will probably continue to be offered free of charge. “I think a free model is a very difficult way to capture the value of our content. I think what we need to do is deliver that content to consumers in a way where they will appreciate the value,” he said.

He answered when nature called, Dave Chapelle was at Hollywood’s Laugh Factory attempting to set a new record for comedy endurance – but failed when nature called He performed for five hours straight but he couldn’t hold it in anymore and he left the stage to use the bathroom. There are only two rules. You have to continuously tell jokes that are funny and you can’t leave the stage, even to go to the bathroom. Dave Chapelle was trying to beat Dane Cook’s record which is set at seven-hours and thirty four minutes.

Marlon Wayans will be portraying Richard Pryor in the Upcoming Richard Prior Biopic. Apparently he blew away the screen tests even Richard Pryors wife was impressed with his screen test. Eddie Murphy was originally casted to play Richard Pryor but the studio’s changed in pre-production.  I’m still kind of iffy about Marlon Wayans playing Richard Pryor I think Marlon is great actor especially when he was in Requiem For A Dream.

I can’t believe after all that drama this past summer she still agreed to do it (she probably was under contract for three movies) but if not  Jennifer’s Body was pretty much a flop I guess she’ll take whatever paycheck she can get.  All the horrible reviews can’t stop Michael Bay from making a third one, I mean the movie was the biggest movie of the summer, I thought it was one of the worse of the summer but whatever.  I guess you gotta keep milking it till it run’s dry I sure hope this’ll be the last one.  I wonder if they’ll ever do a cross-over movie Transformers Vs. GI Joe or something like that.  If you combine two horrible movies together it has to equal success, just look at Alien Vs. Predator hahaha.

He writes, “Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st, 2011. Not 2012. Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.”
