Decade’s best: Eminem tops in sales

The race to dominate the decade in music has come down to Eminem and The Beatles in the stretch. The winner?

Both. The rapper emerges as the top-selling artist of the past 10 years, and the Fab Four have bragging rights to the best-selling album.

With 32.2 million copies sold, Eminem leads the pack in overall album sales, followed by The Beatles with 30 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan, which releases its decade tabulations today. Data were tallied through Nov. 1, and though figures could rise through Dec. 31, they won’t alter the rankings.

I figured he would be one of the top selling artist of the decade he always did go multi platinum on every release he has.

Eminem will be re-releasing relapse with seven unheard/bonus songs.  It will be called Relapse: Refill

Multi-platinum hip-hop artist Eminem will release Relapse: Refill on December 21ST, 2009, on Aftermath/Interscope Records. This re-release of Eminem’s chart-topping fifth studio album includes seven bonus tracks, including the single “Forever”, also featuring Drake, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne (previously found on the More Than A Game soundtrack)…

“I want to deliver more material for the fans this year like I originally planned” Eminem says.

Hopefully these tracks on The Refill will tide the fans over until we put out Relapse 2 next year”.

Eminem plan’s to be in a new movie called Shady Talez

The performer, who previously starred in 2002’s 8 Mile, will produce the project, styled as The Twilight Zonemeets Creepshow, alongside Davis, Jackson andUnderworld story creator Kevin Grevioux, who is co-writing the screenplay with Jackson.

Shady Talez as of yet has no release date, but Marvel has plans to launch a Shady Talez four-issue comic book in 2010.

Despite all the twitter and internet buzz surrounding his death, Kanye West is still alive, he still lives to take mic’s away from people and still lives to believe that he is still the voice of “our” generation. I wouldn’t even doubt it if he was the one that started his own death rumor just to see peoples reactions.
